My name is Sarah and I love food. I love the work and care put into growing it, I love learning about where it goes once harvested, and I love eating it. Food unites people, and it’s an amazing foundation to use as a jumping-off point for all sorts of discussions between all sorts of people.
I am also an agricultural microbiologist that studies how beneficial microbes can contribute to agriculture. In my travels I have the pleasure of connecting to different cultures and environments in which young people grow up and eventually learn how they will contribute to creating a better planet.
I’m a wife, daughter, niece, friend, and human that cares about making a contribution to this earth and the people on it. The opportunities I’m given in my career and life to learn about and interact with agriculture (and many other topics!) offers me a luxury that I don’t take for granted, and I’m here to share that with you.
